James Beard Restaurants in Chicago

Smyth tops the list with a Michelin Three Star and a James Beard Finalist nod, and the recognition runs deep from there — Kasama, Oriole, and Alinea all pair Michelin Two Stars with Beard Winner honors. Below them, a wall of One Stars and Bib Gourmands stacked with Finalists and Semifinalists going back to 1999. Recognition isn't our rating; some of these score Damn Good or lower from us despite the hardware. Check the tier before you book.
