Pastamarket is a casual neighborhood Italian restaurant in Little River built around handmade pasta made fresh in-house and visible to diners as it happens. Chef Maurizio, originally from Naples, sources ingredients from Italy for the kitchen.
The format lets diners build their own bowl: about ten pasta shapes paired with roughly as many sauces, including a bolognese and a funghi pasta. The fresh pasta is cooked al dente and comes out in consistent portions.
The dining room is small, dressed up with Italian-alleyway wallpaper, while the patio outside offers a more relaxed, charming spot to eat. Pastamarket also works well for takeout.
