The Spot
Bar Bucce works like an Italian market that happens to seat you: order at the register, settle into the patio or dining room, and salumi, martinis, and pizza arrive in turn. It comes from the same team behind Macchialina, and the pizza dough recipe reportedly took half a decade to get right.

The pizza list runs from a straightforward Margherita and Zucchini pie to an Amatriciana pizza, a Shrimp Pie, and a rotating Clam Pie as pizza of the month. Salumi includes Prosciutto di Parma, and dessert covers a Bucce Sundae and an Orange Olive Oil Cake with house-made whipped cream. The menu shifts over the course of the day — panini and pizza by the slice move fast from the counter early on, while Chicken Milanese and other entrees join after 5PM. Antipasti, whole pizzas, and charcuterie stay on the menu throughout.

It operates as a walk-in pizzeria and bottle shop as much as a sit-down restaurant, with pizza by the slice, dine-in, and takeout all part of the same counter-service setup.
