The Spot
Allegro ma non Troppo keeps its menu deliberately short: four starters, three mains, two sides, and one dessert, with every dish coming out of the same oven, prepared the same way each day. The lineup includes a Caesar salad made with Caesar Cardini's original dressing, a stracciatella-topped Olivia Baguette, a skinny Margherita flatbread, and a Wagyu bolognese lazy lasagna. Mains run to free-range chicken cotoletta alla Milanese and whole branzino roasted with olive oil, lemon, and rosemary, rounded out by oven-roasted potatoes with ricotta and a rucola salad with cherry tomato, olive oil, and lemon.

The restaurant occupies Miami's oldest fire station, built in 1923 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, giving the Brickell room a different feel from the newer buildings around it.
