James Beard Restaurants in Austin

Leroy and Lewis and Barley Swine sit at the top, both Michelin One Stars and both Beard-recognized on our own Delicious as F*ck tier. Birdie's, Nixta Taqueria, and Franklin Barbecue each carry a James Beard Win, and the Bib Gourmand list reads like a highlight reel of East Austin barbecue and tacos. Recognition isn't our rating — Canje and Tsuke Edomae are Beard semifinalists but land at Damn Good here. The badges are real; the score is ours.
