The Spot
Bar del Corso opened on Beacon Hill on July 15, 2011, led by Jerry Corso, who spent time traveling in Italy and working at Obelisk in Washington DC and 2Amys before returning to Seattle. The restaurant operates as a pizzeria con cucina: wood-fired pizza alongside Italian small plates, salumi, cheese, and house-made bread and sweets, served across patio and indoor seating.

Sourcing stays local where possible, with select ingredients imported directly from Italy. Reviewers point to the funghi pizza and salt cod as standouts among the small plates.

Bar del Corso was a James Beard Foundation semifinalist for Outstanding Hospitality in 2022, landed on Seattle Met's Best of 2025 list, and holds a 9.2 score from The Infatuation.
