Three Italian spots clear our bar in Seattle. All three carry James Beard recognition.
No stars here, just Damn Good across the board — and a Beard Winner in the mix. Cafe Juanita took it in 2008 and still runs $$$$ in Downtown Seattle. Il Nido and Spinasse back it up as semifinalists, in West Seattle and Capitol Hill respectively, both at $$$. Small list, heavy resume.
