The Spot
Momotaro Nashville brings the Chicago original's approach to Wedgewood-Houston, led by Chef Partner Gene Kato under Boka Restaurant Group. The kitchen works through sashimi, robata, and chef-driven plates built around Japanese culinary tradition and seasonal ingredients.

A dedicated dessert menu of Japanese-inspired sweets runs nightly, and the beverage program leans into sake, Japanese whisky, wine, and house cocktails alongside the food.

As a newer arrival in the neighborhood, it's built a following for its food quality and atmosphere, even as service and drink pacing have drawn some growing-pains complaints typical of a young dining room.

“Another stunning restaurant with food that was mediocre and so overpriced, I won't be back. Disappointing.”
