The Spot
Aba takes its name from the Hebrew word for father, and its Nashville outpost brings a California-inflected take on Mediterranean cooking from Chef Partner CJ Jacobson. The a la carte menu runs through shared plates built for lingering, with a beverage program that pulls rare wines and spirits from lesser-known Mediterranean regions rather than the usual names.

Signature dishes include Crispy Short Rib Hummus, Whipped Feta Spread, Hot Honey Halloumi, a Beef Tenderloin Kebab, and a Frozen Lemon Meringue Bar for dessert. Catering and boxed options extend the same menu beyond the dining room.

The space was designed by Lettuce Entertain You's internal design team, led by Avril Zayas in collaboration with Marc Jacobs, built around the idea of a Mediterranean summer. Regulars point to the room and the cocktails as much as the food, and it's developed a reputation as a special-occasion destination in South Nashville. Nashville Guru named it a Best New Restaurant of 2025.

“I really tried to like Aba. Beautiful space..lackluster food, service. Instagram heaven that doesn't translate to a good dining experience.”
