Vice City Pizza started as a pop-up in the back of a bar in Downtown Dadeland and has since grown into a full restaurant in West Kendall's West End. The kitchen is led by chef Carlos Estarita, who has cooked at Michy's by Michelle Bernstein, Zuma Miami, Coya London, and Maido Lima.
The menu centers on Detroit-style pizza — thick, buttery rectangular pies with crisped, cheese-laced corners and rotating toppings that have included housemade fennel sausage and charred pepperoni. Shared small plates round out the menu alongside the pizza. The room keeps things casual and family-friendly, built as a neighborhood spot rather than a destination restaurant, even as its reputation has outgrown that description since the pop-up days.
