Mother Wolf takes its name from Rome's founding myth, the she-wolf who nursed Romulus and Remus, and builds its menu around the same singular inspiration: the city itself. Chef Evan Funke leads the kitchen, working across wafer-thin wood-fired pizzas, hyper-seasonal antipasti, and a pasta program built on Roman staples — Carbonara, all'Amatriciana, alla Gricia, al Burro, and Arrabbiata among them.
The Design District location is one of several Mother Wolf outposts, bringing Funke's Roman-focused approach to Miami alongside sister restaurants in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
