MILA occupies a rooftop in South Beach, serving a signature MediterrAsian cuisine that blends Mediterranean and Japanese cooking traditions. The restaurant was founded by Gregory Galy and Marine Giron-Galy, with interiors by designer Olya Volkova, who combined reclaimed wood, stone, and handmade linen and cotton fabrics throughout the space.
Alongside the main rooftop dining room, MILA includes a lounge and a separate 12-seat enclosed omakase room set apart from the rest of the restaurant.
A dress code is enforced at the door, and service runs with a large, closely coordinated staff attending each table. MILA is one of several similarly styled, scene-driven restaurants operated by the same Miami group.
