Fox's Lounge takes its name and its spirit from the original Fox's, a bar on US1 that evolved alongside Miami for more than fifty years. Bartenders free-poured strong drinks until 2am in a room dark enough to blur the line between regulars and county politicians, and generations of patrons carved their initials into the wood paneling. After nearly seven decades, the original Fox's closed in 2015.
Rather than let the space disappear, Lost Boy & Co. brought it back. The new Fox's Lounge operates as an American bar-food spot in South Miami, built around the nostalgia of what came before it without leaning on that history as a gimmick.
