The Spot
Acova occupies a storied address in LoHi, the Denver district once known as "The Northside," on a site that previously housed the Italian restaurant Patsy's. The name nods to that history and to its sibling restaurant, The Hornet on South Broadway — "cova" is Italian for nest.

The menu spans lunch through dinner with soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and entrées, alongside a dedicated brunch service and a patio for outdoor dining. Crab cakes and fried chicken show up among the entrées, with berry cobbler on the dessert list, and gluten-free options are available across the menu.

The space blends vintage character with a more contemporary feel, and regulars point to the atmosphere as one of its draws — a neighborhood spot built for after-work drinks, date nights, and weekend brunch.
