Our Take

Mamani is named for the Cohanim brothers' grandmother, who cooked between Paris and the South of France, and the restaurant executes her map: Riviera French with Italian light in it, run by Paris-trained chef Christophe De Lellis at a level that took a Michelin star in the restaurant's first Texas guide.

Family-story restaurants usually stop at the story. This one hired the technique to honor it, and the room — glamorous, warm, unhurried — completes the argument. Dallas got a French restaurant with an actual soul, which is the rarest kind.

The Spot
Mamani takes its name from owners Brandon and Henry Cohanim's grandmother, the wonderful cook they called Mamani, who split her time between Paris and the South of France and passed her love of food and hospitality down to her grandsons. The restaurant's classic French cuisine is rooted in Paris and draws inspiration from the French and Italian Rivieras.

Executive Chef Christophe De Lellis, a Paris native who spent years leading the kitchen at Joël Robuchon in Las Vegas, runs the food program with a modern perspective and relaxed finesse he traces back to his own grandmother, who first taught him to cook.

The space is built to feel chic and sophisticated without going stiff, with a bar for happy hours and late nights, a private dining room, and an all-season terrace with a retractable roof — rooms meant to cover everything from an impromptu weeknight dinner to a full-scale celebration. Mamani is a concept from Feels Like Home.

Michelin awarded Mamani one star in its 2025 guide.
