The kitchen has real high points. The wagyu tartare is the kind of dish that justifies a visit on its own, and the housemade bread with whipped ricotta and honey is simple execution done right. Not everything lands at that level. A lobster spring roll with an undercooked wrapper and a chicken schnitzel buried under underseasoned spaetzle and flat pickled squash show the menu still has rough patches. But the strongest plates carry enough weight to make the meal worthwhile, and the room gives them the setting to do it.
