Our Take

Aba's rooftop is a lovely place to spend an evening, and the operation beneath it is faultless in the way this group's operations always are.

Faultless and weightless. The Mediterranean menu is the same calibrated playbook the group runs in four cities, and in Fulton Market — the most competitive square mile of restaurants in America — calibrated is a decision to be decorative. Every direction you walk from the front door improves your dinner.

The Spot
Aba sits in Chicago's Fulton Market District as part of the Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises portfolio, with sister locations now open in Austin, Nashville, and Dallas.

The menu runs on shareable Mediterranean plates: hummus, muhammara, whipped feta, and eggplant spread alongside kebabs, chicken kabobs, short ribs, and salmon. Brunch draws its own crowd, and a pistachio cake comes up often among what diners order.

Aba's kitchen was named to StarChefs' Rising Stars class for Chicago in 2021. Robb Report has also included it on its Best New Restaurants list in both 2025 and 2026.
