Monteverde leads — a James Beard Winner in the West Loop with a Michelin Selected badge to match. Alla Vita and Ciccio Mio round out the top tier, the latter carrying a Bib Gourmand in River North. Below them, five Damn Good spots spread across Logan Square, Lakeview, Hyde Park, and West Town, two more with Michelin Selected nods. No stars in this batch, but the depth holds up.
