The Spot
Xi'an Famous Foods operates its Northwest Washington location out of Takoma Eats as a takeout-and-delivery-only outpost, with no dine-in room. The restaurant is a family business run by David and his son Jason, built on family recipes for Xi'an classics.

The menu centers on hand-pulled noodles made to order, served dry or in soup, including the Stewed Pork Hand-Ripped Noodles, the Spicy Cumin Lamb Hand-Ripped Noodles in Soup, and the Pork Zha Jiang Hand-Ripped Noodles. The Liang Pi Cold-Skin Noodles appear both cold and stir-fried, and the Stewed Pork Burger rounds out the regulars. Everything runs through the restaurant's proprietary chili oil, a blend of more than 30 spices and ingredients that's been part of the operation since it started.
