The Spot
Bar Chinois opened in October 2021 in Mount Vernon Triangle, within walking distance of Capital One Arena, the Convention Center, and Union Station. The space combines a Chinese kitchen with a French-inspired cocktail program, set in an industrial-chic dining room with patio seating, and is dog friendly and wheelchair accessible.

The menu is built for sharing, with Red Chili Wontons, Steamed Shumai, Chili Karaage, 1970's Garlic Noodles, and Crab Rangoon as its known dishes. Regulars have made the dim sum and cocktail program a draw in their own right, and the room has developed a following of repeat customers who treat it as a neighborhood spot.

Bar Chinois has been selected for the Michelin Guide in 2025. A second location now operates in National Landing.
