Today Food

Today Food is a small Chinatown spot built around three styles of dumpling: potstickers, boiled, and soup dumplings, all made daily by a team of cooks working right at the window. Each wrapper is filled with pork, shrimp, or chicken, then pan-fried, boiled, or served in broth depending on the style, with soy sauce and black vinegar set out at every table for dunking. The shop also keeps a freezer stocked with dumplings to take home. Seating is limited to a handful of small indoor and outdoor tables, and much of the business leans toward food to go.
