The Spot
Okoze Sushi, tucked into Russian Hill, works across a wide menu rather than a single format. Tables can build a meal from specialty rolls, or order the 9- or 12-piece nigiri omakase for a more structured spread. A robata grill section adds cooked plates like salmon teriyaki and vegetables alongside the raw fish.

Chef's specials rotate, including dishes like negi toro gungan — nigiri packed with chopped toro and sweet unagi sauce, topped with crispy rice crackers. Plates carry decorative touches throughout, with flower-shaped beets and actual flower petals used to dress up the presentation.
