Epice has been serving Lebanese food in 12 South for over a decade, built around chef Karim Ghayur's approach to the full Lebanese table — mezze, grilled meats, and vegetable preparations treated with the specificity of someone who actually knows the cuisine. The hummus is made from scratch, the kibbe properly spiced, the kafta properly grilled.
Lunch runs on sandwiches wrapped in pita baked by Middle Eastern bakers, served daily. Weekend brunch adds shakshuka and the restaurant's beyrouti tacos alongside a bloody mary program the restaurant has built a reputation on. At dinner, the lights go low for a room suited to dates and celebrations, with a bar pouring a cocktail program and wines pulled from across Europe and the Middle East — seven seats at that bar, and they fill fast.
Epice has been voted Nashville's Best Mediterranean multiple times by local readers' polls.
