That complaint doesn't hold up against the pattern. When the overwhelming read across visits is great food, great service, great atmosphere, worth it, the occasional grumble about cost reads like sticker shock, not a real flaw in the kitchen.

Michelin agreed, selecting the restaurant in its 2019 guide, and that recognition tracks with what regulars already knew: this is a place that delivers the full experience, not just a menu. The Franklin Room earns its place as a dependable, genuinely good night out in a part of town that doesn't always offer one.
