The Spot
Itoko sits on Lakeview's Southport Corridor, a sushi and robata restaurant from Gene Kato, Executive Chef of Momotaro in the Fulton Market District. The name means "cousin" in Japanese, a direct nod to that connection between the two kitchens. Itoko is part of Boka Restaurant Group.

The menu runs through sushi, robata selections, and temaki hand rolls, alongside set menus like the Southport Set and the Teishoku Set, built around seasonal fish teriyaki.

Michelin has selected Itoko for its Chicago guide every year from 2023 through 2025, and among regulars it's built a reputation as a neighborhood gem.
