Beity takes its name from the Arabic word for "home," and that idea runs through chef Ryan Fakih's approach to Lebanese cuisine on Fulton Street in the West Loop. Drawing on his own Lebanese heritage, Fakih reworks traditional dishes into an a la carte fine-dining format, aiming for dishes that sit somewhere between nostalgic and new.
The bar gets its own spotlight. Beverage director Olivia Fadden leads a cocktail program built around turning memories and childhood dishes into drinks, running alongside the food menu rather than as an afterthought.
