The Spot
Clark's Oyster Bar has anchored the Old West Austin corner of Sixth and Blanco since 2012, built around freshly shucked oysters, crudo, a lobster roll, daily fish specials, caviar and blini, and bowls of chowder and cioppino. A Gruyere-topped burger sits on the menu as the one non-seafood constant.

The room takes cues from the New England coast, with nautical touches — a saltwater fish tank, teak wood furniture, blue and turquoise accents against bright white walls — built around a large marble oyster bar. Seating spans an intimate dining room, the lively counter itself, and a tree-shaded patio out front.

Clark's is part of the MML Hospitality family, with sister locations in Houston, Aspen, Montecito, Menlo Park, and Malibu. The Austin restaurant was named to A Taste of Koko's 2025 Austin best-of list.
