Our Take

Tiffany's runs on a specific inheritance: the chef and co-owner grew up in his father's Istanbul restaurant, and that upbringing shows up as a genuine fusion rather than a gimmick. The bloody mary gets pomegranate molasses instead of cocktail sauce. Omelets arrive topped with spicy hummus. Wagyu ravioli comes finished in schug butter. It reads like a menu built by someone translating two food languages fluently, not just borrowing vocabulary from one to decorate the other.

The constants across the menu, pistachio, saffron, honey, rosewater, are delicate flavors that could easily get lost, but here they're doing real work, cutting through heavier plates like merguez, ribeye kabob, and batata harra. The rose-cardamom biscuits are the kind of dish people plan return visits around, and the loyalty makes sense once you've had one.

The room matches the food's confidence: dark, eccentric, unbothered by convention, which suits a menu that refuses to pick a single tradition and stick to it. This is a kitchen with a clear point of view executing it well enough to land on a national radar, including a spot on the New York Times' annual restaurant list. That recognition followed the food. It didn't create it.

The Spot
Tiffany's Bar & Bistro brings Mediterranean cooking to the H Street Corridor, framed as American-Mediterranean fusion. The kitchen works from scratch-made sauces and dips, and regulars point to the hummus and meat platters as the dishes worth returning for, alongside cocktails from the bar.

The room is intimate, and service is a consistent point of praise — attentive and known for flexing to accommodate guests. It's built to cover a range of occasions, from brunch to cocktails to a sit-down dinner.

Tiffany's was included in The New York Times' Restaurant List in 2023.
