Chaplin's combines Japanese table dining with a full bar and beverage program in Northwest DC. Chef/Partner Myo Htun, a native of Burma, trained under a Master Ramen Chef in Tokyo for nearly 30 years before bringing that craft to the kitchen here.
Co-owners Ari and Micah Wilder, also of Wilder Brothers, run the beverage side of the operation, building a cocktail program meant to complement Chef Myo's cooking. The ramen has developed a following among regulars, and the restaurant has built a reputation for good value alongside attentive service.
