The Spot
Café Riggs occupies the ground floor of the Riggs Washington DC hotel, running a contemporary American brasserie menu that leans on French tradition — seafood plateaus and French onion soup on the dinner side. The room itself, with its marble columns, is part of the draw.

The restaurant serves all day, moving from breakfast through lunch, dinner, and late night out of its bar, café, and dining room. Weekend brunch is its own event, built around French toast, eggs royale, and a champagne cart that circulates the room; oysters and pancakes come up often in what regulars order.

Café Riggs has been Michelin Selected every year from 2021 through 2025.
