Chloe is built around Chef Haidar Karoum's own culinary path — Lebanese roots layered with travel through Western Europe and Southeast Asia, grounded in seasonal Mid-Atlantic ingredients. The small plates format lets that range play out across the menu rather than in a single dish.
The dining room centers on an open kitchen, with a Chef's Counter positioned for the closest view of the cooking. Dishes that come up often among diners include fingerling potatoes, gnocchi, sea bream, hummus, wild mushrooms, brussels sprouts, and fries.
Chloe earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2021 and has been Michelin Selected in both the 2024 and 2025 Washington DC guides. Chef Haidar Karoum was also a James Beard Foundation Best Chef semifinalist in 2019.
