Pizzeria Bianco: Town & Country sits on the same corner where Chris Bianco's original Pizzeria Bianco operated before relocating to Heritage Square in 1997. When the spot reopened in 2013, it ran under the name Italian Restaurant, built around classic Italian family recipes and local produce and meats rather than pizza. It took on its current name once Bianco's pizzas were added back to the menu.
The menu here runs wider than pizza alone: wood-fired pies share the table with artisanal pastas, a home-made meatball sandwich, and chicken cacciatore. Bianco DiNapoli tomatoes, an organic tomato line Bianco developed, feature in the kitchen's cooking.
Phoenix New Times named it among the city's best restaurants in 2025, and Robb Report included it on a 2026 list of best new restaurants. Michelin awarded the restaurant a Bib Gourmand in 2026, and the James Beard Foundation has recognized it for Outstanding Restaurant, as a semifinalist from 2014 through 2017 and a finalist in 2020.
