Mister Pio keeps its focus narrow: rotisserie chicken, done a specific way. The birds are all-natural, humanely-raised Bell & Evans poultry, marinated for 48 hours in what the kitchen calls an old family recipe — a 22-spice rub — before going on the rotisserie. Produce comes from Steadfast Farm in Mesa and shows up in the side salads served alongside the chicken.
The menu is built around quarter, half, and whole chicken orders, dark or white meat, each paired with a choice of sauces and a side salad, plus a short list of add-ons like fries and a market salad. It's a compact, chicken-first format rather than a sprawling Peruvian spread.
Mister Pio was named to Phoenix New Times' Best of 2025 list.
