The Spot
Delfina has operated as a neighborhood trattoria in the Mission District since 1998, run by owner and chef Craig Stoll alongside Annie Stoll. The daily-changing menu moves through antipasti, handmade pasta, pizza, and dishes built on local meats and seafood, sourced from area producers, fishermen, ranchers, and farmers' markets. Stoll's cooking draws on time spent in Piemonte and Tuscany, with the broader menu pulling from across Italy's regions.

The wine list leans deep into Italian producers, with a Rare Pressings selection reserved for older and harder-to-find bottles. The bar and cocktail program, headed by Colin Gallagher, is built around Italian spirits and Amari.

The restaurant expanded over the years into Pizzeria Delfina, now with four locations around the Bay Area. The original Mission dining room reopened in October 2022 following a renovation by Fucinaro Architects and Roy Hospitality.
