Pastaria Vivi is a handmade pasta shop and Italian specialty market in Encinitas, built around fresh, chef-crafted pasta and sauces made in small batches each morning. Chefs Brandon Jennings and William Treff first cooked together in the kitchen of No. 9 Park in Boston before reuniting in San Diego to open this shop in Encinitas and North County.
The pasta is rooted in Northern Italian technique but shaped by California ingredients — hand-rolled tagliatelle, stuffed ravioli, vegan extruded fusilli, and seasonal sauces make up the rotating lineup. Beyond the pasta case, the shop also runs a monthly pasta subscription box and stocks curated Italian provisions alongside the fresh product.
