The Spot
The Guenther House occupies the restored home of C.H. Guenther, who built Pioneer Flour Mills on the San Antonio River. The Art Nouveau and Victorian-era house still stands on its original grounds in Southtown, and guests can tour the property alongside eating there.

The menu runs American breakfast and lunch: all-day breakfast plates, sandwiches and other lunch fare, pastries baked fresh in house, and Founder's Choice Coffee, roasted under the Guenther name. A connected store sells mixes and kitchenware tied to the San Antonio River Mill brand.

San Antonio Magazine included The Guenther House on its 2026 list of the city's best restaurants.
