Street Disco started as a pop-up within Portland's pop-up scene in 2014 under chef Kyle Christy, before landing in a permanent home in Foster-Powell in 2022. The space centers on counter seating, putting diners close to the kitchen in a room regulars describe as charming and energetic.
The menu moves between Asian and Italian reference points, and meat dishes in particular have built a following. Natural wines and cocktails round out the drink list, fitting the restaurant's self-described mission of "food, vibes, and natural wines." It's the kind of place that draws repeat visits and regulars who return often.
StarChefs named Street Disco to its 2023 Rising Stars class for Portland.
