Kestrel sits above the entrance to Indian Wells Golf Resort, its dining room, bar, and open-air terrace looking out over mountain peaks and desert sunsets. The restaurant takes its name from the American Kestrel, the small, brightly marked falcon common to the region, and chef Richard Blais uses that as a loose frame for the food and the setting alike.
The kitchen works a Left Coast take on American classics — signature cuts and dry-aged steaks, coastal catches, burgers and composed protein-and-grain bowls — built around Coachella Valley produce. The bar is a focal point of the room, known for its Kocktail Happy Hour and handcrafted cocktail list alongside the dinner menu.
Palm Springs Life named Kestrel one of its Best of 2025 picks.
