Our Take

Colony Club has landed on Michelin's Palm Springs list four years running, from 2023 through 2026. That's not a fluke or a single good season — that's a kitchen that keeps meeting the bar year after year, in a category (American cooking) where consistency is harder to fake than a splashy one-off tasting menu.

Sitting in the Uptown Design District, the restaurant carries the neighborhood's polish without leaning on it as a substitute for the plate. The recognition here isn't for a gimmick or a moment; it's for steady execution that a guide with no reason to be generous keeps coming back to confirm.

Four consecutive selections is the kind of receipts that matter more than a single rave. Palm Springs has plenty of restaurants trading on scene. Colony Club has spent four years proving it's not one of them.

The Spot
Colony Club operates inside the Colony Palms Hotel, a Spanish colonial property from the 1930s reworked with a modern take on Art Deco. The indoor dining room plays up that past directly, styled after a 1920s speakeasy and nodding to the hotel's history under former owner Al Wertheimer, a reputed mobster.

Step out to the patio and the tone shifts entirely — tables under striped umbrellas ring the hotel pool, built to feel more South of France than Prohibition-era desert. Between the two rooms, Colony Club runs distinct indoor and outdoor identities under one roof.

Colony Club has been a Michelin Selected restaurant in the Palm Springs guide every year from 2023 through 2026.
