Pêche Seafood Grill is part of the Link Restaurant Group, the Warehouse District collection built by Chef Donald Link and chef-partner Stephen Stryjewski, the team also behind Cochon and Cochon Butcher. Where those restaurants lean into Cajun and Southern cooking, Pêche turns toward the coast, serving simply prepared seafood with a modern approach to old-world methods, centered on an open hearth over hardwood coals.
Regulars order fish sticks, smoked tuna dip, hush puppies, Brabant potatoes, brussels sprouts, Louisiana oysters, jumbo shrimp, and croquettes, with salted caramel cake and key lime pie for dessert.
Pêche won Best New Restaurant and Best Chef at the 2014 James Beard Foundation Awards. It returned to the Foundation's radar with a 2025 Best Chef South semifinalist nod and 2026 Outstanding Restaurateur recognition as both semifinalist and finalist, earned a Michelin Selected designation in 2025, and was named to Robb Report's Best New Restaurants list in 2026. It also appears on Eater's essential New Orleans list and on 2025 best-of-city rundowns from NOLA.com and Where NOLA Eats.
