The Spot
Willie Mae's NOLA traces back to Willie Mae's Scotch House, a bar established in New Orleans' Treme neighborhood in 1957 that grew into a full-service restaurant over the following decades. In November 2024, that history expanded downtown with a full-service location on Baronne Street in the Central Business District. Kerry Seaton Stewart, Ms. Willie Mae's great-granddaughter, now runs the operation.

The menu centers on the fried chicken the original location built its name on, alongside Southern sides like butter beans.

Michelin selected Willie Mae's NOLA in its 2025 guide, and NOLA.com/Times-Picayune named it among the city's best that same year.
