The Spot
I Dream of Weenie started in 2007 as a local artist's lunch-stop idea, run out of a modified 1971 VW bus that became a fixture in East Nashville for seventeen years before the operation moved into a permanent building.

The menu runs on flame-grilled hot dogs and sausages dressed in housemade topping combinations — options like the Pimento Cheese Weenie, Windy City Weenie, Reuben Weenie, Chili Cheese Weenie, and a Bratwurst, alongside a Corn Dog and daily specials. Sides include fries, fried mac and cheese balls, fried green tomatoes, and deviled eggs. The dining room is bright and colorful, with an easygoing, settle-in setup.
