Sho takes its name from shokunin, the Japanese term for a master of one's craft, and applies it to neo-Neapolitan pizza built on a 72-hour dough fermentation and a handmade Stefano Ferrara Forni oven fired with local white oak. The room is set up to put that process on display: a 12-seat chef's counter looks straight into the oven, alongside a dining room, a bar, and a dog-friendly outdoor patio.
A cocktail and wine list runs alongside the pizza, and the Caesar salad has developed its own following among regulars.
Michelin awarded Sho Pizza Bar a Bib Gourmand in 2025, Eater named it to its Essential 38 list for Nashville, and Nashville Guru named it a Best New restaurant of 2025. Sho is part of the Brock Hospitality restaurant group.
