Fancypants sits on Dickerson Pike, built by Jake Mogelson, Bryan Lee Weaver, and Michael Shemtov — the trio also behind Redheaded Stranger and Butcher & Bee. The idea is fine dining that doesn't take itself too seriously: a contemporary American menu that works as a casual a la carte outing one week and a full multi-course night out the next, all off the same menu.
The room is meant to split the difference between occasion and neighborhood hang, with service and plating that consistently draw notice from guests. There's no dress code beyond the house rule — wear pants.
Fancypants was named a Nashville Lifestyles city magazine favorite in 2025, landed on StarChefs' 2026 Rising Stars list for Nashville, and was scored 8.9 out of 10 by The Infatuation.
