Taste of R Cuisine started as a food truck in the Design District before moving into a storefront on the outskirts of Wynwood. The truck itself didn't go anywhere — it's parked on the back patio, and that's still where all the cooking happens. The indoor dining room is simple, decorated mostly with printed photos and a couple of flatscreen TVs.
Burgers are the specialty: a plush bun, a medium-thick patty, and an orange-tinted secret sauce. A hanger steak frites typically shows up on the specials board, alongside lemonades made with local fruit. It's the kind of place better suited to takeout or a quiet lunch than a destination sit-down.
