Tacomiendo is a food truck parked inside a plant shop, which makes it one of the more unexpected lunch spots in Miami. The seating area doubles as a garden, with shady tables buried in greenery and a BYOB setup that invites lingering over a bottle of wine. Carlos Maloff runs the truck, cooking from his father's taco recipes, which trace back to family gatherings and a taquiada his family used to host every December. The tacos themselves are simple and straightforward, not flashy, and most tables finish them with the mango hot sauce left out for everyone. Tacomiendo has been serving out of its plant-shop setting since 2018.
