Maíz y Agave occupies a three-story building on Miracle Mile, with each floor built as its own distinct space. The ground floor, called El Patio, is the casual room, open for lunch and dinner with dishes like quesadillas, ceviche, and birria tacos. A brass elevator leads to a dressier second-floor dining room with an expanded menu that runs dinner only, and the building tops out with a rooftop bar overlooking Miracle Mile.
The kitchen draws on Oaxacan tradition, built around corn and agave, and the bar leans on mezcal and tequila for its cocktail list. An outdoor terrace adds a third way to eat here beyond the patio and the upstairs dining room.
