The Spot
Katy Trail Ice House sits right along the Katy Trail in Oak Lawn, built as an open-air beer garden with communal seating under live oaks. A fifty-foot bar anchors the space, pouring fifty beers on tap that range from Texas domestics to regional and international imports.

The kitchen works from scratch, serving burgers, tacos, and salads alongside Texas Hill Country BBQ that's slow-smoked Thursday through Sunday. A dedicated fireside menu covers the cocktail side, including margaritas made with Peligroso tequila.

The patio is dog-friendly and set up for groups, with large HDTVs pulling in a sports-watching crowd alongside trail runners stopping in after a workout. Regulars point to the atmosphere and service as the draw.
