LÝRA comes from DineAmic Hospitality partners David Rekhson and Luke Stoioff, who drew on more than a decade of travel through the Greek islands to shape the concept. The design leans on rustic, earth-toned materials meant to evoke rural Greek landscapes, set inside an indoor-meets-outdoor space along West Fulton Market.
Chef Athinagoras Kostakos runs the kitchen off a custom wood and charcoal hearth, applying techniques picked up on the islands toward simple dishes built around bold, direct flavors. The bread gets particular attention from regulars.
On weekend nights, the room shifts into what LÝRA calls the Weekend Ritual — a late-night supper club with a live DJ, musicians, dimmed lights, and dancing meant to channel a Mykonos nightlife scene.
