Our Take

Ticonderoga Club works a small footprint hard. The ten-seat bar is the center of gravity, strung with Christmas lights year-round, tucked behind windowless brick walls that seal out the noise of Krog Street Market outside. It feels like a room built to be found rather than passed through, and the crowd that fills those stools night after night treats it that way.

The kitchen doesn't coast on the bar's reputation. The spiced pork earns its regulars, an international menu that reads scattered on paper but lands coherent on the plate, closer to a tasting menu's precision than a neighborhood bar's shrug. The drinks match that ambition — the Ticonderoga Cup, built on rum, cognac, and sherry, arrives cold enough to make you notice the glass before the pour.

That combination — serious cooking, a bar program with real technique, a room with actual atmosphere — is rare enough that the recognition reads as confirmation, not surprise. Michelin has selected it two years running. The James Beard Foundation has named it a finalist for both hospitality and bar program. The seats are hard to get because the room behind them is doing the work to deserve it.

The Spot
Ticonderoga Club operates out of Krog Street Market in Inman Park, running an American small-plates menu alongside a cocktail program that has built its own reputation. Dishes like eggplant, tartare, radish preparations, and a chocolate mousse show up repeatedly in what regulars order.

Service is a defining part of the experience here, with attentive staff frequently cited by guests and an owner-present hospitality style. The room carries an upscale character while staying tied to the market's casual energy.

The bar program earned a James Beard Foundation finalist nod for Outstanding Bar Program in 2019, and the restaurant has since been a James Beard finalist and semifinalist for Outstanding Hospitality in 2022 and 2023. Michelin selected Ticonderoga Club in both its 2024 and 2025 Atlanta guides, and it holds a spot on the Eater 38.
